APACHE TREATY #261 OF 1852-3
Chief Mangus Coloradas signed a treaty with the U.S. Government in Santa Fe, New Mexico Territory on 1 July, 1852, which was ratified by the U.S. Senate and proclaimed by President Franklin Pierce on 25 March, 1853.
This was the only executed treaty between the United States and the Apache Indians.
